Nintendo News: The E3 Nintendo Direct Announced for June 15th

We are quickly approaching E3 2021 season and Nintendo have announced when their own special briefing in the form of their industry changing ‘Nintendo Direct’ will take place:

On 15/06, Nintendo will host its all-virtual #E32021 activity. Tune in at 17:00 (UK time) for a #NintendoDirect presentation, featuring roughly 40 minutes of information exclusively on #NintendoSwitch software, mostly releasing in 2021. pic.twitter.com/T9Sqwo7xre

Now the tweet does say that the presentation will be 40 minutes and focusing “exclusively” on software, with fans no doubt hoping for news on new games and perhaps an update on Breath of the Wild 2 amongst many others but many will still be hoping for or at least expecting the rumoured “Switch Pro” new model but 40 mins is a hell of a lot of games to be talking about and I have to admit, as someone who has yet to join the Switch community, this just might be the briefing that makes me go “Ok…I need a switch” !
